Breeze is a collection that came from an experiment of mutual reaction between metals and different natural elements. The experiment seeks to see how different metals – such as copper, brass and silver – behave when melted and poured on variety of materials and in different conditions. The elements used to react with the metals were stones, branches, salt and water (boiling, iced and room temperature water). An interesting observation of the results was how the shapes would resemble the way nature also manifests itself in this world, shaping the metal in ways that remind us of different animals, shells, clams, oysters etc. This served as inspiration for the animation for the collection.
